TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
